Josh and I headed out to Baltimoreat 7:00 to catch a 9:30 pm flight, the "red eye" with the idea that Chad would not be stuck in D.C. traffic picking us up at Dulles (I got a real good deal on the tickets flying there instead of to Baltimore). So on the way to the airport, we called and found out the plane would be delayed 2 hours, which we killed pleasantly going to PINKBERRY for frozen yogurt on the way.(well worth it). Joel drops us off and leaves, its close to 11 a.m. now and they anounce that due to some problems with the incoming flight, we have to be bused to Burbank airport (did you even know Burbank had an airport?). OK. So we have to pick up our luggage at baggage, reload it in a bus, drive an hour to Burbank, go through security AGAIN, and finally leave for Wash d.c. about 1:30 a.m. By now we decide the traffic in D.C. will be really bad and Chad will miss his Friday class if he picks us up. So Josh and I set off on another adventure. We found a bus to take us to the Metro station, took the metro to the train station, and then took the train to Baltimore, where we finally got picked up by Chad at about 2 pm. Next time I think I'll pay the extra $40 and fly into Baltimore on a nice afternoon flight.
Parker is so cute!!! We are having so much fun visiting them. Chad is so cute changing diapers and burping him, I am loving just watching the 2 of them. There's nothing better!! Chad and Em think Parker looks just like Joel!!
Meanwhile back at home, the new office is coming along! We have picked out carpet and flooring and after trying out 15 different off-white's and beiges, finally the paint is on the walls. Flooring goes in next week, then the cabinets, then equipment. We will be seeing patients mid March while the staff trains on the new equipt, and will begin first of April with a full schedule. We are really excited!
